Verizon in Arlington, TX

I have lived here for 10 years, and can't get Verizon cable.  My company gets a discount to use Verizon, but it is cost prohibitive for me to pay for another cable company, and then pay for Verizon cell/phone/internet.  When will Verizon ever come to the 76017 area?  I would love to have their service, but right now, waiting another 10 years for this to happen is not feasible.
