the dvrs we have now just dont cut it! ,we need more recording space, and i dont mean 45 hours, the 20 hours we get now is pathetic when trying to record a lot of HD programs!

First off, can't wait to get my new 500GB DVR in the mail this coming week. Looking forward to the 1.9 IMG upgrade. With the new external HDD support, I have a few questions.
Is there a size limit to the external eSata HDD we use, and I assume the 1.9 IMG will auto format the ESata drive for use with the dvr
I don't remember seeing information on how quick the external will connect to the FIOS DVRand if there will be any "lag" between reading the external HDD?
Can you designate where the DVR will save recordings to the internal or external?
Can that external HDD be moved to another 1.9 DVR with recordings, and be watched in another room?
Joe? Becky? Anyone?
Researching my questions I hope
From what I believe the external drive looks to be part of the connected DVR, so there should be no reason it can not be viewed from another location. I have not seen any reports saying it could not. I have been watching the testing.
