I was an avid 1825 music choice, stage and screen listener.. As of late, the format regarding how the songs are aired have changed. The first song will be from a broadway musical. (That's great) The next song will be from the category of a movie soundtrack, which is some abscur music like "the soundtrack from, the Little Rascals Movie" The third song will be from a t.v. theme song such as Batman or another movie soundtrack such as John William's, "Saving Private Ryan"..Before, there were specific times for the 3 different categories. I was able to DVR broadway musicals when aired during those specific times. I now have to listen to, two other songs before I can listen to one that I enjoy.and I also can not DVR.. Please, I'm pleading with you, to bring back the old format. So people, who like to listen to Broadway can and tape it for future listening. Just like those interested in listening fo the movie sound tracks can without interruption, listen and tape those songs when aired. This new format does not make any sense!!!!!!
How can I get my message read by someone????? Or, to whom do I write to with my suggestion????
Create an app that allows Fios tv to be watched via Playstation 3.
Music Choice has an ipad app and I downloaded it, assuming that Verizon Fios allowed access to it. NO?!?!?! How is that possible?!?! We have access to all of the premium channels "GO" apps, why not Music Choice? Even no-name cable companies I've never heard of before like Hargray and TCT West, and your major competition of Cox, Comcast, and Time Warner have access!! Any chance we can get Verizon Fios access to this app?
I know we have Music Choice, but you have to listen to what "they" want tp play. I propose an Album Choice....where let's say you want to hear The Eagles Greatest Hits.......or whatever album, I mean CD you would like to hear. You simply go to an alphabetical drop down menu and select, super easy. Start out with greatest hits CDs and move on from there, see if it catches.....NO Charge of course or a very nominal acces charge per month.....I mean minimum amount of money. Should be free. If you could throw in a MTV video of the band playing that song that would be cool, logistically impossible. But the album art would suffice nicely.
What do you think Verizon. Listening to a great music album makes you feel better... beats TV any day !
Hi
The Latino Spanish stations are great. My son and I really like the adult and children selections. We also really like listening to the Toddler Music Choice station. I was wondering if there was any way that Verizon could also have a Spanish Toddler Music Choice station. There is so much traditional Spanish music for children and American/English music translated or reworded into Spanish for children out there that I am sure that it would make a great station for native speakers and for children that want to learn the language. Music is an important aspect in all of our lives and I believe that the added bilingual and multicultural elements will just make it even more special.
Please, please add this station!
This press release is a bit old. Pandora is non existent on my FiOS . How about following though?

Learning another language is difficult. It would be helpful if there were a separate page to view that would show the particular language text mixed in with the English text. Spanish, for example, could be directly above or directly below the English to give new students real time translation. Students continuing or wanting to maintain or brush up on their Spanish could click on the page as well. Thank you.
So, long story short. I don't have a cable service right now. I don't watch enough TV to support it frankly. What I do have is a Hulu Plus account that streams through my XBox, and that does me just fine. But, I would like something better if it became available.
So I looked at FIOS, and I liked what I saw, but since I live in West Des Moines, the service as a whole isn't available. I really wouldn't want the whole package, I'd just like what's available through the XBox portion.
Have you folks considered putting together a small package that would be available just for XBox customers with no other aspects? (no home box or anything) Because I can't warrant dropping $80 a month for it when I could just go get cable if that's what I really wanted. Something like $20 / month for Xbox access would be perfect, but it doesn't appear that option exists.
Just a thought.
What happen to Music Choice? They changed to format and made it much less interesting. I see they set the "MC" for Music Choice in huge font and the information about the music too small to read? It's not about advertising your brand, it's about providing a good product.
Instead of having us download and install yet another media management application (VZ Media Manager), how about just supporting DLNA, so that existing DLNA servers can work with the FiOS TV box?
Windows Media Player on Windows Vista/7 already provides a DLNA server. I see no real reason why VZ Media Manager is necessary.
I understand Media Manager is required for us to be able to access YouTube on our boxes, but surely that functionality can be broken out into a smaller application that can run as a service on Windows, instead of this giant, memory-hogging thing that must run in the foreground all the time...
An ideal app for the new tablet devices such as the iPad and Samsung Galaxy (and the future Android 3.0 tablets) would be the ability to watch your STB content remotely through the tablet.
I currently use a third-party device to do this, and owing to its limited and questionable integration with the Verizon STB (via IR blaster) it is only a partial (and often unreliable) solution.
What would be ideal is to be able to stream (at fairly high quality, say DVD+) to the tablet and access DVR and On Demand content as well as regular channels.
Integrating the server-side feature of this into the STB would be a strategic move for Verizon, and might help its budding relationship with Apple.
This would be far more useful than the current apps (remote control and remote scheduling).
The FiOS Mobile App for streaming TV content on an IPad Already Exist. Comparable Apps for Android and Windows mobile devices are in the works. Updates to follow.
We all have extra A/V inputs on our Motorola cable boxes for game inputs. Motorola says your service provider decides whether or not to activate them.
Here's my idea: Activate Them.
It would make life SO much easier for us if we could plug in our Wii/Playstation/XboxVideo Camera/whatever and expect it to work.
I don't care if you don't provide customer support for external devices, just don't prevent me from using them if I want to. I would even be willing to pay a small surcharge and sign an agreement not to ask you how to play/win/cheat at at Call of Duty.
C'mon, how bout it? Why aren't they active?
I think there should be an option where you pay so much a month and can rent so many on-demand movies/shows/etc. for that price! Taxing for each movie on-demand is ridiculous. Example: Flex View Package allows you to rent 3 on-demand NEW RELEASE movies + 3 on-demand movies (not new release) + 3 on-demand TV-shows PER MONTH for $19.95 + tax. Flex View NEW RELEASE Package allows you to rent 3 NEW RELEASE Movies PER MONTH for $8.95 + tax. and onward...
Verizon clearly has the capability and network to stream more data/video to smartphones. Since I can already log in to my DVR box to control recordings, why not push video that is already recorded back to my phone. It would be one more way Verizon could stay ahead of the competition.
It would be useful if Media Manager had more slideshow options, such as the ability to LOOP so the slideshow can continue to play in the background, also a random function. If this is too much trouble perhaps allowing automated backgrounds or background themes to display would work just as well...
Sorry if this is a repeat, my scan didn't turn this up...
