Much too hard to get a PDF of a bill.

First off, when a user signs up for paperless billing and creates a Verizon profile for the sake of dealing with said bill, they should have full access to all aspects of that bill.  If my bill is online, I should be able to see any and all information regarding that bills, including PDFs, printing, etc after the initial profile setup.  It should be an electronic version of my paper bill.  Nothing missing, no fewer options.  I didn't do anything "extra" after creating my profile because at the time, I didn't know I was missing out on any features and I was able to login, pay my bill, see how much I owed, etc.


HOWEVER, after I cancelled service (you will NOT take my net neutrality without a fight, sir), I needed a PDF of my final bill.  Couldn't get it.  Couldn't get a temporary pin emailed because, even though I had been emailed my bill for YEARS, the fact that it hadn't been verified, and remained verified for 30 days, meant I couldn't have a temporary pin emailed to me.  Getting a temporary pin sent to my mobile phone was not an option.  The only options were to have an automated service CALL my associated Verizon service number.  Only was a DSL number for which I did not have a phone.  OR we could trust in the good ole USPS to send me a temporary pin in a week or so.


Why is this process so RIDICULOUSLY archaic????  If I'm on the phone will Billing, they've asked me all the security questions, why can they not just TELL ME a temporary pin to get the silly "Full Access"?  Or... strike that.  Why do I not have full access when i first create my online profile?

For a telephone company, Verizon has very poor telephone service and it does not explain its complicated services on the website.  For example, I want to set up voicemail screening. But, the website does not explain how to use the service once it is set up. I tried and failed to find out how to use it.  Verizon needs to explain its services more carefully and include more information -- not just about sales and setup but also about how to use the services.  It is almost as if, all Verizon cares about is the money we pay -- the rates are very high--but not about the services delivered.  

I tried calling you on the phone to get this information as well and hit a wall.  Your service took me to a place where someone would call me back... but that was also so complicated and difficult that I never got to specify a time for a call. 


Any other business which did this would be out of business soon because of poor phone service. But Verizon is a telephone company so of course you don't have to have good telephone service.

Fix your web site

Your security people are making it very difficult to sign on with an automated password helper (like Roboform).  Increasingly sites like yours are eliminating the ability fore these tools to work or the ability to cut and paste passwords.  This like  security that keep increasing password complexity and length, forget the human factors that go into good security.  In this case I am using very strong passwords, but cannot possibly remember them all.  Your approach is forcing me to go back to unsecure passwords if you expect me to have to remember them and type them in every time.  What happened to one simple sign on screen that enables an addin to put the password and ID in for me???  You now have multiple screens to sing on and have inhimbited the ability for the password tool to insert the password into the screen for me.  This stops me every time I use this.


Please fix.  Your supposed security actually makes this less secure, and my choices are:


1. Use a stupid easy to remember password so I can remember and manually enter it every time (remember I have dozen of web sites, so I am not focused only on Verizon); or

2. Revert back to paper billing which will cost you more money as I mainly use this site to access my bill.


Above all, teach your security  to think about human factors and not follow their associates in the industry that continually invest these stupid things that actually make the world less secure.  Why not have 100 digit passwrods and make the users stand on their head when they enter them....  Really come on.  A simpler sign on please!!!!

I really find it pretty awful that your website has endless ways for current customers to add new services to their bill but NO WAY TO ACTUALLY CANCEL SERVICES online. I can't wait to call customer service and waste 45 minutes of my life just trying to end my services.

Verizon has had some of the absolute best coverage and service I've ever had regarding internet, tv, and wireless. I have noticed, however, that the FIOS footprint is not currently expanded into the Peach State, Georgia. It is my understanding that the most widely used service, though not by choice, is windstream. This company from all accounts I've heard is the epitome of a failure in service and quality. I know that although many things go into expansion decisions, a large customer base must be one of them. I am most undoubtedly sure that should Verizon's residential capacity, in all it's forms, expand into the Peach State, then the customer base therin would expand and multiply exponentially. I currently live where the service is offered and am at loss knowing that when I return to Georgia in the coming months, I will have to give up such a fantastic and excellent -well worth every penny- service of both quality and professionalism. I will certainly miss the option of true 75/35 FIOS Quantum Internet and FIOS TV Prime HD.

Merge email accounts via Tabs

I would like the ability to check several of my verizon counts at one time by perhaps using a tab to toggle through them. As the primary I should be able to set it up to group email addresses so I can see them with one login.


I don't want them in the same in box or anything. Just want to login and see them all when I have set them that way.

I have been a customer with verizon wireless for many years. I recently signed up with verizon fios television and internet. It's inconvenient to have two different online accounts for each of these services. I wish I would have been able to add on the residential services with my wireless account and combine them into one bill. 


Billing Changes Notificiation for Online

When receiving paperless billing, any notifications of future billing changes should be either in the email notice of the month's bill (preferably in red so it won't be missed), or somewhere on the top when you open up the current month's bill from the email link, highlighted in some way, either in a box, or in red, etc. 


I just received my bill, and it has increased.  I was told that I received notice in April's billing but I would only have seen that on the printed version.  If my billing is identical every month, there is no reason I would be checking the PDF version of a paper bill every month, so therefore it is missed.


My suggestion, respectfully, is that Verizon should adjust all paper-oriented billing notices to be reflected "at-a-glance" if one is paying online.  That would be more consistent with why people choose to do this online - to not only save paper, but for time-efficiency.

Verification of Name Spelling on Site

A protocol should be, if not already established by Verizon to guarantee quality service by simply spelling the name of its customers' correctly. Steps should be taken to assure the name on the site matches that name on the bill. Notations should be reviewed and followed upon to make sure the corrections have been that customer "My Verizon's" page.  I have been a customer with Verizon for over four years, and have requested this correction to the spelling of my name-repeatedly.  It is obvious to me; none of the previously mentioned is being done.  What other suggestions would you make to achieve the desired result-the correct spelling of your name?

I downloaded My Verizon, not realizing it was a tyrannical program that will no longer allow me to use a browser of my choice. Now I am locked into using Google 100% of the time. I prefer Internet Explorer for a browser most of the time.


I tried to uninstall My Verizon but you tryants want total control of us, just like the government is working on. I won't give up on  trying to get rid of My Verizon and its browser control function, just like a browser redirect virus does.. I have had Verizon phone service for many decades and Verizon DSL for a few decades now also, but I am getting sick of the infestation of tryants in this country, from the government on down including service companies like yours. I am on the verge of discontinuing my service with you, totally, and if it happens, I am very stubborn and will never be back.You are even tryrannical about what your website will allow us to do, but that is very common on the WEB.


If you didn't get it, I am {word filter avoidance}!

Bring Back MSN Premium

So I just go the word that MSN Premium will stop being my ISP portal for my verizon/MSN email accounts, unless I pay more for MSN Premium.


I suppose this is because Verizon wants the ad space/revenue.  The only thing is when I went to log on, I get an error message that is not decipherable (may be user/password error, but who can tell????)


BRING BACK MY MSN for FREE.  I pay enough for the service that I do not deserve to be nickled and dimed like this.  

BAD IDEA.  The $2 fee to pay your bill didn't work, so let's try this!!!


Do you want to keep your MSN too?   Let's hear it!

Verizon is allowing 3 Network trackers (Omniture, Dedicated Networks and X+1) and 5 Companies ( Real Media, Omniture, Visual Sciences, Double Click and X+1) to hang tags and track us.  Please, just stop allowing the tracking

I found out Verizon is able to access any information and setting in the FIOS router in my house even when all passwords and settings accessible to the user in that box have been changed. I found this this when I tried to pay my Verizon Bill (I have FIOS TV and Internet service) and found out displayed on my web page the SSID of my home Wi-Fi for which the broadcast has always been “disabled”. By clicking “unhide” it also displayed my home  Wi-Fi password on the same web page. I was confirmed the protocol used is CWMP which the user has no way to block  on the router.

It is similar to an owner renting a place and keeping a back door, or copies of all the keys (even of the safe inside the house) without telling the tenant, without allowing him to change any locks, and getting into the house to do some updates/modifications without the tenant’s authorization.

Verizon should at least provide an opt-out option preventing them to have access to our private networks and not to provide "what they call help" to customers against their will.

Why must I sign in on Verizon whenever I go to a different site?  what is the use of signing in for 2 weeks when I can't be "remembered" for ten minutes?

... it is possible to gain access to security-related wireless information on MyVerizon.  This situation is similar to that encountered in STB menus where such information is also displayed.  The release of IMG 1.9.4 addressed this issue for the STB menu, but the issue still exists on MyVerizon.


It is not at all clear that this feature is a good idea, but even if it is decided that that's the case, there should be an option to prevent the display of sensitive user information on the MyVerizon servers.
