Line Transfer

Why - oh Dear Lord Why would it be that you have to shut everyone off in the morning and then work your way around the world to turn up new service- one by one - especially on the business side!  I get Purchase Orders on my Fax Number.  We had a fire and are now moving back in.  Verizon wants to turn my phones off in the morning and then - whenever they get around to it - install the new service.  Why - oh why can't you turn off service in the afternoon - my god at least for an afternoon install.   I could get a $50,000.00 Purchase order and lose it due to Service Downtime =- what the hell???????????   You can at least make two entries and shutdown the afternoon serviced folks in the afternoon - this is 2011.   I programmed those switches at AT&T and know you are capable if you just give it a little effort.

Re: Line Transfer

I feel your pain. They turned us off at midnight instead of 2:00 pm as requested. Then they released all our static IP addresses and at 5:00 pm on Friday the techs working on our ticket went home for the weekend. Was told that they would pick up our ticket on Monday morning. I lost over $10k in revenue due to Verizon's complete lack of ability to follow through. Verizon really does not care about its customers. Can not wait for Comcast to come to our building.
