I joined the Verizon community less than 48 hours and I am getting spam e-mailed to me. The returned addresses always have verizon.net this tells me these are coming because i joined your Forum site. This is NOT good. What can I do?
here are samples:
{edited for privacy}@verizon.net Fw
omebody definitely has a crush on you..
{edited for privacy}@verizon.net Fw: V.i.a.g.r.a. without a prescrip required!!
your site must not be secure and we should have been warned.

Hi VickieG,
I'm sorry you are having difficulty with receiving spam emails. I've escalated your complaint and an agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information or to help you resolve your issue.

VickieG,
The emails you are recieving are spam but are not from Verizon.net. Whomever is sending spam are spoofing email accounts no matter if it is Verizon or another provider.
Spoofing: A common technique of spammers is to “spoof” their return e-mail addresses, making it look as if the mail came from someone else.
Verizon has a antispam policy https://my.verizon.com/central/vzc.portal?_nfpb=tr
You can turn on the spamdetector to try and catch some the spam you are receiving. http://www22.verizon.com/residentialhelp/highspeed
Thanks,
Tonya D.
