ISP2142722_family watching tv.jpgFiOS TV is offering more than 40 Spanish-language channels for free!

For one week, FiOS TV customers can experience all of the great programming available on some of our most popular Spanish-language channels. All of the channels are part of our Spanish Language package, which features 69 channels, 11 of which are in HD. That means that this week’s free preview includes more than half of the channels available in the package!

For movie buffs, we have channels like Cine Sony and Viendo Movies. For the kids, we have BBC Cbeebies and Ultra Kidz. You’ll also find Discovery en Espanol, Nat Geo Mundo, Tele El Salvador, TV Chile, and more.

A full list of all of the channels available in the free preview is below. Make sure to check out all of the great Spanish-language programming that FiOS TV has to offer while the free preview lasts. And if you like what you see, check out our website to find out what Spanish-language package is best for you. Whether it’s La Conexión, the bundled package that features more than 195 channels with more than 30 in HD and 70 of our most popular Spanish-language channels; or FiOS TV’s Spanish Language Package, a premium offering that can be added to any of our FiOS TV packages; we definitely have something for everyone. The problem with this free preview is that many of the channels that are being offered by verizon in this package for free do not actually match what is listed on the guide. Many of the channels that are offered in the spanish package are off by several hours and now that everyone has a free preview of what is in this package they can see for themselves what i and a lot of other people have been dealing with for years where a lot of the channels in the package never match so it feels as if many of us are getting robbed of our opportunity to enjoy what you have to offer in this package. Some of the channels in this package that never match and anyone who tunes in to those channels can now confirm it are channels 1509, 1511, 1512, 1516, 1548, 1567, 1582, 1646 where there are also occasions where games that are listed on aym sports and tyc sports that rarely match. Tvc + latino channel 477 in my area has also been an issue for a long time where that channel is off by three hours because they are running a west coast schedule for people on the east coast. So what the guide indicates was on three hours ago is on right now. It would also behoove verizon to try to diversify its spanish package and add as many 24/7 channels as they can from different spanish speaking countries rather than constantly adding every single channel that there is from mexico. All of these channels are primarily owned by televisa and many of the programs that they have to offer are exactly the same. I see that you are scheduled to add caracol, telefe, and some spanish programming in hd later on this year where verizon is currently in negotiations with peru magico to add that channel. It would be a good move to add peru magico and another channel like canal sur peru.
