FiOS TV Speaks Your Language

GLOBE.JPGOne of the FiOS TV features I'm proudest is our international offering.  We offer 33 channels from over 20 countries -- one of the best offers around.  And, starting Monday, we're giving away some of it for free.


From Oct. 19 to 25, FiOS TV customers can tune into any of the channels on our Spanish Language Package free of charge.  There are 27 of them, including news, sports and entertainment channels, like Toon Disney Español, Galavision and CNN en Español.


Ever wanted to see History en Español or Discovery en Español?  Want to watch your favorite Latin music stars on MTV Tr3́s?  All available during the free preview.


The package is normally $11.99 per month, so enjoy all of the free Spanish content you can next week.


One other tip - new customers who subscribe to certain bundled packages of FiOS TV, FiOS Internet and Verizon phone service are eligible to receive one International TV package free of charge for three months.  Customers can select from one of the following languages: Chinese, Filipino, German, Hindi, Korean, Punjabi, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese.

When can we expect Greek channels to be added to Fios? I know of many Greeks in the New York City area who would love to get Fios but the lack of Greek channels stops them. Many other platforms from Time Warner to Comcast to Dish and DirectTV offer a total of 8 Greek channels in the United States.

 

If only one Greek channel can be added, the preffered one would be Mega Channel which has the best and highest rated programs in Greece.

FiOSTV has much to offer than cable doesn't, but we understand your desire to see Greek programming.  We have plans to add at least one Greek channel before the end of the year, but we can't announce which one yet.  We'll keep you posted here on additions to the lineup.

I agree with Khiotis that if you can only get one, MEGA would be my choice. Of course I would also like ANT1,  ERT and SKAI
