Free Previews for FiOS TV Customers

by Employee ‎01-08-2010 11:50 AM - edited ‎01-08-2010 12:12 PM

ball.JPGHere at the At Home blog we always like to tell you about free stuff - and we have two free previews coming up on FiOS TV that I'm sure will excite our sports fans.

First, beginning tomorrow, Jan. 9, and lasting until the 15th, customers can check out ESPN Full Court.  This package gives college basketball fans access to games that are outside their local viewing area, featuring schools from many of your favorite conferences including the SEC, ACC, Big East, Big 12, Pac-10, WAC, MAC, MAAC, Colonial and Sun Belt.  You'll find ESPN Full Court ($114 for the season, or a half-season is $79) on FiOS TV channels 1010-1015.

The second free preview arrives about a week later on Monday, Jan. 18.  For the entire week, our customers can check out NBA League Pass in SD and HD - free of charge.  With NBA League Pass, subscribers can get up to 40 out-of-market, live NBA games every week.  So, you can follow your favorite teams and players, no matter where you live.  NBA League Pass ($189 for the season) can be found on FiOS TV channels 1489-1499.

Don't forget - FiOS TV offers an added bonus with our NBA League Pass Widget.  Available for free to all FiOS TV customers, this widget is found in the Widget Bazaar applications marketplace and offers instant access to player news, scoreboard updates, headline news, conference standings and team rosters.  Plus, once you subscribe to the NBA League Pass package, you get onscreen NBA alerts for up to 10 teams with four different alert options: Start of Game, End of Quarter, Two minutes to End of Game, or Start of Overtime.

One thing to note on these packages: during the course of the season, some games may be blacked out due to local broadcast rules, restrictions and agreements that are out of our control.

Let us know what you think of the packages.  If you like what you see, signing up is as simple as pressing the OK button on your remote control, while you're on any one of these channels - once the free preview is over.  Or, just give us a call at 888-553-1555.  In the meantime, take advantage of some free basketball games - on us.
