With October and National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) coming to an end, we hope you’ve seen some of the online safety tips we’ve provided on Twitter as well as here at the Verizon at Home blog, NCSAM is a national public awareness campaign promoted by National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) that encourages all digital citizens to be safer online.

But being responsible online doesn’t end on Oct. 31.

Andy Hayter, an anti-malcode program manager at ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon Business, offers some everyday Internet safety tips to help you continue to manage your digital lifestyle. You can listen to Andy here.

It is amazing to me that even with a problem it is impossible to get a real person on line(phone or other) to explain what is wrong.   Automation is nice but when taken to such an exteme it becomes more of a hurdle then help

I bet it is cheaper to use real people then the elaborate computer program you now depend on.   Trying to communicate with a computer via cell phone in the dark is more of a hurdle than I need when looking for help;

Newbie question, doubtlessly in the wrong forum -

Why can't I get to the site of the Great Paper Escape game, where I can actually do the wheel thing or whatever it is to try my luck?  I get daily reminders to do so and about once a week I waste time trying to get there.  I keep getting to the screen asking me to enroll. Well, enrolled I am - and p___ed off too.
