Well, starting today, FiOS TV HD customers who subscribe to HBO or Cinemax can watch 300 hours of HD programming from the two premium channels. Not only are we giving FiOS TV customers more HD programming from HBO and Cinemax than any other provider, but also FiOS TV is the only provider offering Cinemax HD on VOD. Your neighbors with old-fashioned cable won’t have it.
We also told you last month that we’d be expanding the FiOS TV Movie Package with new HD VOD content from The Movie Channel and Starz, and by adding more movies on-demand from Encore. The HD on-demand content from The Movie Channel is already available, and the Starz and Encore programming will be here soon.
All of this new VOD content is free if you’re already a subscriber to these premium packages. If you don’t subscribe now, it’s easy to sign up.
First, tune to any one of the HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Encore and TMC channels. You’ll see a message saying that you’re not subscribed. With your remote control, click, confirm and start watching your favorite films in a matter of minutes. You can find the VOD programming by hitting the On Demand button on your remote control, browsing through the menu on FiOS TV’s Interactive Media Guide, or by tuning to channel 900.
So, pop some popcorn, sit back in your favorite chair, and make it a movie night – on Verizon FiOS TV.
