OK, so you’ve seen the FiOS Speed Guy in action, leaping from heights of 10,000 feet and flying right into your front door.
But what you haven’t seen is how he (and we) did that.
We thought we would give you a behind-the-scenes look at how this video came together. If you go to our facebook page you can watch a 4-minute video that shows you how director Rob Cohen oversaw the making of that video. If you’re afraid of heights, let me warn you. This can be a bit hair-raising.
As you’ll see, Cohen actually used three wing suit jumpers to play the role of FiOS Speed Guy. There has been lots of speculation that the video was mostly CGI, or that Verizon Speed Guy flew into a mattress out the back door of the house. Neither is true-just see for yourself.
OK, so these wing suit jumpers are fearless. But how about the camera crew? How’d you like that job?
