Damon-Lindelof

If you are as psyched as I am about the upcoming Ridley Scott movie “Prometheus,” I’ve got some news you’re really going to like.

Verizon has partnered with 20th Century Fox on the promotion of “Prometheus,” which opens in theaters, worldwide June 8. Today [Wednesday, May 16] at 2 p.m. ET, you can participate in a 30-minute Twitter chat with Damon Lindelof (pictured here), one of the “Prometheus” screenwriters. Lindelof is a much-sought-after writer who is noted for being the co-creator and executive producer for the television series “Lost.” He has also written for and produced hit series including “Crossing Jordan,” and “NashBridges,” “Wasteland”, and the MTV anthology series “Undressed.”

The chat will take place at @Prometheusmovie and the hash tag will be #Prometheus.

Because of our partnership, Fox has provided Verizon with some exclusive and unique content, including images, movie clips, and special experiences. The latest clip, a 24-hour Verizon exclusive featurette entitled “QuietEye,” will be available at 10 a.m. ET, exclusively on our facebook page. Be sure to watch the clip as Lindelof will be talking about it during today’s Twitter chat.

We are also holding a sweepstakes, where Verizon is sending the grand prize winner on a trip to London to visit the Prometheus movie studio, where much of the movie was filmed. Sweepstakes entrants are also able to get a hands-on experience of Verizon’s new Home Monitoring and Control service while exploring the spaceship, “Prometheus.”  To enter and read more about the sweepstakes, simply click here

So, if you are a fan and can’t wait for June 8, now is the time to get on board ‘cause we are ready to launch into some great fun. We hope you join us for the ride as it’s sure to be a blast.

Montgomery County Maryland has a teaching tool called a Prometheus Board. Does not use chalk and the teachers can't cratch their nails on it. Links to the computer and network.
