Verizon Offers the Best Online Experience to Small Businesses

compass_logo.jpgIt’s a fact that many businesses are started in the home – most popular being in the garage or the basement.  Many of our consumer customers are also our business customers. So if you own a small business or have a friend who does, then check out the Verizon small business websites and some new social media tools that are launching today.

An important asset for home-based and other small businesses is an easy-to-navigate website that offers resources, tools, advice and more to help the business succeed.

Verizon’s two business-to-business websites were recently recognized for their intuitive and relevant content to help small business. Verizon’s website for small businesses, http://smallbusiness.verizon.com, was just ranked No. 1 in an independent survey of websites that target small businesses with products and services. In addition, the Verizon Small Business Center was recognized for its content featuring an easy-to-use dashboard and resources for small business.

Compass Intelligence, a global consulting and market analytics firm, reviewed 49 companies’ business-to-business websites and found that Verizon’s small-business site “offers an elegant mix of multi-media, easy-to-understand product details, online buying and compelling customer stories that connect to an actual solution.”

In addition to the websites, Verizon is now offering insightful news, tips and resources for small- and some medium-social_media.jpgsized businesses on Verizon Small Biz on Twitter, and our Facebook page, both of which debut today.  These tools join the Verizon Small Biz Blog, which we’ve published for almost a year.

Verizon’s Small Business team continues to look for new ways to engage with businesses online. If you’re a small business owner, our goal is the same as yours: to help your business grow and prosper.
