There are two things that almost every American loves: a good deal and football.
Starting today, new Verizon High Speed Internet (HSI) customers can get both with the latest package from Verizon. No formal announcement yet. We’re letting readers of the Verizon At Home blog know about this first here.
Here’s the deal.
Customers who sign up for Verizon High Speed Internet with unlimited long distance and local calling phone service and DIRECTV’s PLUS HD DVR™ package get the 2009 NFL SUNDAY TICKET™ as part of the package. NFL SUNDAY TICKET™ - ONLY ON DIRECTV just by itself is valued at $299.95, but in this promotion Verizon offers the whole package including phone and 3 or 7 meg Internet for $119.99 per month for a year. And we’re throwing in nine SHOWTIME® channels for a year no extra charge.
Besides that, customers who act now will also qualify for either a Compaq Mini netbook or a Flip UltraTM camcorder from Verizon under a promotion announced June 22.
Bundling broadband with voice and DIRECTV® services through Verizon saves customers big money – more than $600.
NFL SUNDAY TICKET™ - ONLY ON DIRECTV provides up to 14 NFL games, every Sunday throughout the NFL season. So following a favorite team, no matter how distant the city, just got a whole lot easier.
With hundreds of football games this fall, subscribers may find their family rooms popular places on Sundays – maybe too popular! The good news? The savings will buy plenty of chips and dip to keep the new friends happy …even if their team doesn’t win.
