ATTN: UPPER MANAGEMENT ONLY!<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

AGAIN, I'm receiving email addressed to others - MAJOR SECURITY PROBLEM – I contacted most of them and informed them of what Verizon is doing – a lot of **bleep** people.

ALSO, I'm receiving email where the (To:) section is completely blank - no address at all - not even a (.)

Can you guys block all international emails coming to my email account (i.e.: {edited for privacy}) - they keep changing the {edited for privacy} part.

I'm tired of having to contact Verizon.

You guys have major issues with your customer service in all departments.

I'm seriously giving thought of taking all of my business elsewhere - especially the very next time I get a computer generated response/reply.

ALSO, I would prefer this message be sent directly to management. And, I'm going to send this to every department until it does UNTIL MANAGEMENT CALLS ME PERSONALLY!

This is a peer to peer support forum, and not a venue for requesting help from Verizon. For that, you need to contact Verizon directly through the Contact Us link.

Extremely overpriced on everything (rip-off) and the quality of service is practacally non-existent after you sign-up or sign a term contract.

The term contract signers are getting screwed big time & the **bleep** don't even know it!

Everyone knows Verizon's email service is crappy and totally UNSECURE.

i think Verizon's SPAM filters are a total joke - I'll bet Verizon is selling or giving their customers email addresses to overseas SPAM houses - this is my question/concern/suspicion.

Ever wonder why you can't block some of them. Especially (.in which is India).

Hey, even at a penney per 1,000 email addresses  - adds up to one hell of a lot of money for Verizon (millions) IF it's true.

I think Verizon is probably selling a lot of your personal information without your knowledge.

If any of you use Verizon's email service - I can read any of your email anytime I want to.

Instructions on how to do it are all over the web - if you know where to look.

HEY PEOPLE - I FEEL THEY HAVE MAJOR SECURITY ISSUES!

--- just another little person getting screwed - the least they could do is provide the lubricant!

--- looks like I'm going to be taking my business elsehere.

--- thanks for the stress Verizon - like we all don't have enough of it as it is!

Perhaps if you tell us what instructions you were given by Verizon agents, and why they did not work out for you, then someone else can chime in with advice.

I advise this customer to leave Verizon and I am sure that many of those on this forum would agree. His way of expressing complaints is not acceptable.

Both of these are probably examples of spammers using the BCC field. Since you have not provided any details about the messages you are receiving, we can only guess.

There's no way to block senders from certain countries currently. Since the address/domain was edited for privacy I cannot tell you exactly how to filter them, but odds are there is something in the domain that you can set up a filter with.

Good luck with that. This is a peer-to-peer support forum. If you want to get a message to Verizon, you should contact them directly via one of the options on their Contact Us page.

If that were the case, I would be getting spam on my email address, which I am not. Don't sign up for sites with questionable/nonexistent Privacy Policies. Don't enter your email address into "drawings." Check out Verizon's help items How can I stop spam? or Why am I getting spam?

You can block them, set up a filter that says If From Contains .in then Delete Message (or send to spam folder, or send to spamdetector.notcaught@verizon.net, whatever your preference.)

Oh, really? Care to show me where that information is? Last I checked, Verizon just set up SSL for their POP3 access, which was the last major security issue.

Did  you find  this happening shortly  ( as in hours)  after making  contact to  customer support?   I  find   dozens  of Spam  hours after making a call  or chat to  customer support.    Since I do  not  use  my  verizon  email  for anything  but  messages to  close friends and family    this sudden  increase  in Spam  right after contacting customer support   iis a red flag  that   those  !@#$#$@  in  India  are  behind the  spam  barrage.    What every  you do   never give them  access to your computer to  make   " repairs"
