E-mail Address Gone

Verizon has deleted my username@verizon.net account and the links to create an alias or subaccount are missing from my account management page.  The help article that says you can restore access doesn't work - because when I go to the webmail web page it says my e-mail address (associated with my Verizon account) no longer exists.

How do I get this fixed?  There ought to be a link to recreate a deleted e-mail address, or to create one if you don't have one any more.  After all this is a service I am paying for.

No it really had been deleted, but the agent I chatted with was actually able to recreate it.

Verizon doesn't generally delete usernames from accounts. Regardless, this sounds like the kind of issue you will need to contact Verizon directly to resolve.

This is a peer-to-peer support forum. If you want to get a message to Verizon, you should contact them directly via one of the options on their Contact Us page.

I tried contact them by e-mail to resolve this (obviously via a different e-mail address) and every so-called support option leads back to here, or to somewhere else that isn't going to help.  I've seen other postings from people having similar issues, and they are real horror stories.

BTW I didn't say they deleted my username, I said they deleted the verizon.net e-mail address associated with the username.  They mark them as inactive after a while if not used, by they are not supposed to delete them.

Sound like you are logging in with a sub account or a username linked to a closed acccount. The alias and sub account features will not be there if you log in with a sub account. The main account controls if the sub account has email access. You will need to call in if you need help with an account. Verizon may suspend an account, but change or remove accounts or email. I would not put much faith in what someone post about what happen their account, since you will never know the entire story. Spend the time it take to call in. This forum really can't help much with account issues.
