POP.Verizon.Net Not Available

I have been unable to access the Verizon incoming mail server (POP.Verizon.Net) for several days. Is the mail server down and when will it be available again ? Thanks, Mike

No problem with the server here.  Are you using port 995?

I'm trying to contact the server from the US using port 995. The problem has been intermittent, some days I can contact the server, other days I cannot. THis has been going on for at least 2 weeks.
