This is what I get when I was trying to reply to a client's email.

First, you block me from using my company's SMTP. Second, you identify my very important business email as a SPAM.

What's next? VERIZON!!!

WHAT'S NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't your company support secure e-mail on alternate ports? Using the default SMTP port with no encryption isn't a smart move anyways.

Just a thought. I don't quite use ISP e-mail so I can't chime into this issue too much, but I think there is a spam detector e-mail Verizon has for this which you can send mail to in order to report a false positive.

Verizon's spam detector "compares the digital signatures of inbound and outbound email messages against the digital signatures of known spam messages."   If you believe this digital signature has been wrongly classified, follow Smith6612's suggestion and refer to the spam policy.

But, having previously used email providers who had a lax spam policy, I'm thankful that Verizon has a strict policy.

I am corresponding for years with somebody in Ohio (I am in New York.) Out of a sudden, verizon decided that my mail is spam. It is like Churchill's statement about democracy being the worst form of government - save all others. Verizon is the worst ISP - save all others.

A customer paid me via PayPal and I sent back an email with the subject "Thanks"...tough to do business when you have to figure out what to put as the subject!!!!!!!!!!
