What is the size limit of an email sent via Verizon POP email?

I found a few posts on this question, but no confirmed answer.  In sending emails with attachments, I receive a message that they don't actually get sent.  The most recent has a file size of 2MB.  What I found on this forum is that I should be able to send up to 5MB.  But this appeared to be speculation and not firm.

generally speaking Verizon webmail anywhere from 7-8 mb per email now with pop mail anywhere from 15-20 mb.

If you need to send a file larger than that I'd recommend a free source to have somone host it then email them the link so they can go DL it.
