Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.
It is probably a problem with your internet explorer.
Try some of these steps and then test after each one. Most likely you have a problem with add-on's, and if you start internet explorer without add ons and then test, you will probably find that it works fine.
So try starting internet explorer without add ons.

, click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
