I am trying to do a comprehensive backup and would like to copy the contents of my folders. Can anybody tell me where the folders are located?

Thanks,

On the new E mail page, they are on the left hand side.  There you will see, Inbox, drafts, sent E mail, trash, Spam, and then your folders.

Are you checking your email through webmail or through an email client?

If you are checking your mail through the website, then the mail is not stored on your computer. It's all on Verizon's servers. If you want to download mail to your computer, you'll need to use a pop3 client.

Different User. Same Qeustion.

I am trying to set up my email in Windows Live Email (Windows 10) and they are asking for me to brouse and show the folder where my inbox messages are.  How do I anser this question if the server is at Verizon?

I am doing this because since I upgraded to Windows 10, my email via Internet Exployer has been 'not good'.  Can receive but not send email.

Thanks for any help!!

the opton for migrating to Live email asks that for users of email clients.  e.g. Windows mail, or Microsoft Outlook Express.  Its meaningless if you have only been using the Webmail version of Verizon Email.  Should be able to skip it and go on to the next step
