  I have a $29.99 Blackberry data plan on a secondary line and am interested in getting a data plan for my LG Env3 on my primary line.

  Does anyone know of a discounted connect plan available? It would be ridiculous to be paying $29.99 for a Blackberry plan and then have to pay an extra $20 for data on a family connect plan, when on an individual connect plan it is only an extra $10 .

Wireless companies have gone nuts with the data plan **bleep**. Thank you IPhone! How could such a great device bring out the greed from wireless companies?

The Connect plan is on a per line basis. So for the one line you want on Connect you'll be paying $10 extra for it. Where are you getting $20? You only pay $20 if you want TWO lines on the Connect.

But no, you don't get a discount for having multiple data plans and such.

The family connect plan for two lines is an extra 20-ish dollars....i guess what i was getting at was if it was an option to put only one line of a family plan on a connect plan.

Yes, you can put just one line on the Connect package. You would need to make that line your Primary line in the family share. Then the Blackberry with the $29.99 data plan would be the Secondary line for $9.99.

ah....i was assuming that a connect plan applied to all lines on the account
