Does "Account Manager" give me the power to add a line?

I'm an "account manager" via the My Verizon online system for my mother's family share plan.  I have the billing password.  If I went to a Verizon store without my mom on Friday, would I have the power to buy a Droid and add a new line to the account? Or is this something she needs to specifically authorize and/or be present for?  Another, though less desirable, option may be to go to the store and have them telephone her.  She'll be out of the state, otherwise she'd be able to be present.  Thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

As an Account Manager you can do upgrades and add lines. The only thing you CAN'T do is change the billing password and add/remove another Account Manager.

So, if I were to walk into the store on Friday I'd be in the system and allowed to add lines and change the plan carte blanche? It just seems too easy!

The account owner is still responsible for everything you do. So apparently they trust you enough to share in that responsibility.
