NE2 - 5 days early??

I've been in need of a new phone for about a month now and can replace it on 11/11/09 so I've been waiting till then. Is there any flexibility in that date? With the Droid coming out tomorrow, figured I would like to go ahead and upgrade and have a phone that works consistently (I've been rough on my BB), or do i have to just wait the 5 extra days. I sound impatient don't I, haha. Anyone know how this works/flexibility by store managers??

How do you know you are eligible on 11/11? Is this information online? I've been trying to find this out and can't find the information online.

Sign onto your My Verizon online account, go to the overview page. There is a section labeled: My Services that lists each cell number in the account and a date of eligible upgrade.

My wife was the primary account holder and now her phone has been moved to her companies account. Maybe I need to be switched to the primary account holder to see this information?
I don't know how to switch it to me.

Short answer is no (that was what I got also). They are already giving it to you 4 months early (20 months instead of 2 wholes years). Not even one day.

I've always received my upgrades when I was within 30 days. Typically the store won't budge by a day, but if you call into Customer Service they'll let you do an upgrade if you're within 30days. Granted this isn't an official policy, it's just something nice they do for nice people with long term accounts.
