Works with many major streaming offerings except Verion Redbox Instant and Amazon Instant Video.
Supported steaming services:
Players exist for about any device: Windows PC, Macs, Roku, Apple TV, ipads, iPhones, Android, Windows phones, PS4, Xbox, various Blue Ray/ DVD players.. except of course Verion STBs.
I just bought a DVD/Blue ray DVD and it came with a UV code so now I can stream that movie on any platorm or service that supports UV. Why can't this customer friendly service be available from Verizon STBs?
I have the FIOS App for Xbox One but a lot of channels (most notably network channels which were just added to the mobile app) are missing. It would be great if Verizon could add the channels to the Xbox app, especially those already on the FIOS mobile app.
I think it would be best that we make set top boxes for the new TV obsolete and replace it with Google TV boxes with a
special app that tunes TV and radio stations. Set top boxes are the technology of the 80's and 90's and they look old school. With these new technologies that you can simply access the web securely and plug the little Android PC into
the side of the new flat screen televisions that can already access the web, watch TV, and watch online movies. This can also relieve some of the bandwidth that can help speed up the internet. But if a set up box is required, it should be for older televisions. So what I am saying is that make a Android PC with the latest operating system, preinstall Google Play, etc, and Verizon FiOS TV channel app that is for subscribers, also include Google Chrome, Google Music,
Google TV, Netflix and also have another app for a DVR that will go onto a large memory card that has 1 TB of Space.
It would be nice to have a setting to mark ondemand programs that have been viewed. This would be nice when watching a series and being able to see what has been watched (similar to Netflix). Of course have an option to turn this off and clear history.
Come out with FiOS Radio and add it to the bundle pack. I would subscribe., I would love to hear Music Choice, XM/Sirius satellite Radio, I Heart Radio, Tune In Radio just like internet radio, but through the FiOS fiber optic network and also include short wave, AM, LW, and FM stations and weather radio. Something to think about adding to the bundle. I like to watch TV, but I listen to the radio in the background. Another set top box for the radio listener. If we had this, then I would not have to miss my music while the TV is on. Some people like to listen to back ground music. And also add a FM transmitter to the set top box without having to always connect to the AUX connector and set any FM transmitter frequency and also add a bluetooth feature and media player from the computer and hard drive and flash drive. Something like a media center box. Just a cool idea since I have been a subscriber and most would like to not always watch TV all of the time. Also add satellite FTA radio stations and public access radio.
I think Verizon should come up with a plan where you pay a set amount every month so that you could watch unlimited On Demand/Flex view movies. The kids love watching movies on the weekends and so do the adults but at the end of the month when the bill is, all those rentals add up. A set amount (ie $20) extra every month added to your bill and you get to watch as many movies you want!!
I was an avid 1825 music choice, stage and screen listener.. As of late, the format regarding how the songs are aired have changed. The first song will be from a broadway musical. (That's great) The next song will be from the category of a movie soundtrack, which is some abscur music like "the soundtrack from, the Little Rascals Movie" The third song will be from a t.v. theme song such as Batman or another movie soundtrack such as John William's, "Saving Private Ryan"..Before, there were specific times for the 3 different categories. I was able to DVR broadway musicals when aired during those specific times. I now have to listen to, two other songs before I can listen to one that I enjoy.and I also can not DVR.. Please, I'm pleading with you, to bring back the old format. So people, who like to listen to Broadway can and tape it for future listening. Just like those interested in listening fo the movie sound tracks can without interruption, listen and tape those songs when aired. This new format does not make any sense!!!!!!

Music Choice has an ipad app and I downloaded it, assuming that Verizon Fios allowed access to it. NO?!?!?! How is that possible?!?! We have access to all of the premium channels "GO" apps, why not Music Choice? Even no-name cable companies I've never heard of before like Hargray and TCT West, and your major competition of Cox, Comcast, and Time Warner have access!! Any chance we can get Verizon Fios access to this app?
Is there a way to download the flexview movies to my sd card verses my phone. It would help a great deal if the movies I bought from verizon could be saved there and not to the main storage on my smartphone. I have a 64gb sd card that I purchased just for this but the movies if I download them go direcly to my phone.
Please help or give the option to select the sd card.
I know we have Music Choice, but you have to listen to what "they" want tp play. I propose an Album Choice....where let's say you want to hear The Eagles Greatest Hits.......or whatever album, I mean CD you would like to hear. You simply go to an alphabetical drop down menu and select, super easy. Start out with greatest hits CDs and move on from there, see if it catches.....NO Charge of course or a very nominal acces charge per month.....I mean minimum amount of money. Should be free. If you could throw in a MTV video of the band playing that song that would be cool, logistically impossible. But the album art would suffice nicely.
What do you think Verizon. Listening to a great music album makes you feel better... beats TV any day !
The Latino Spanish stations are great. My son and I really like the adult and children selections. We also really like listening to the Toddler Music Choice station. I was wondering if there was any way that Verizon could also have a Spanish Toddler Music Choice station. There is so much traditional Spanish music for children and American/English music translated or reworded into Spanish for children out there that I am sure that it would make a great station for native speakers and for children that want to learn the language. Music is an important aspect in all of our lives and I believe that the added bilingual and multicultural elements will just make it even more special.
I work in the tech field and I am so frustrated right now I want to cancel my service.
First, the website is awful. There is so many redirects its slow and keeps signing me out when I am trying to locate anything. An upgrade and overhaul wouldnt hurt.
Second, Technical Assistance....Not so much, I called tonight and the person didnt know the answer to my question at all. Can I view live TV on my iPad through my STB? Can I watch SHO on my iPad anyplace? How do I import my content into the Media manager so I can access the content remotely, and finally, why when I am signed in on my iPad and I try and access my content does it tell me I have to sign up when I have authorized my device?
Lastly, Flex View...change the name, nothing flexible about it. Help...Before I just cancel.
Learning another language is difficult. It would be helpful if there were a separate page to view that would show the particular language text mixed in with the English text. Spanish, for example, could be directly above or directly below the English to give new students real time translation. Students continuing or wanting to maintain or brush up on their Spanish could click on the page as well. Thank you.
