My Idea is a SIMPLE one

I understand the profitability of advertising on web-sites. But I strongly urge Verizon to change its current corporate strategy which is making this site into one confusing billboard.

 

I don't care that the weather is 72 degrees and the Lo was 58 degrees, nor do I care that that information is brought to me by Weatherbug. I will never go there, nor will I consider going there.

 

Furthermore, I didnt ask to know that NYers are using an easy way to pay off their mortgages, nor do I wish to calculate a new payment for mine. I like it just the way it is. How dare you pray on your own customers, hoping they make an accidental click on useless links. Greed.

 

The reason google is a great search engine is because it does ONE thing better then any other.

 

I hope my plugs are bringing in the checks for the corporate machine.

Please fix the Media Guide so that is can start with the current time.  I went to look at 7:30Pm and could not start it at that time.  It was on a 3 hour grid.  So It had to start at 6Pm or 9Pm.  Why could I not see from 7:30Pm on?  Also is there a way to eliminate channels you know you won't watch?  I sadly don't speak any other languages and would like to take them off of my guide. thank you.

Are you referring to the guide on the TV or looking via the web? Just want to make sure it's clear.

I have for years we waiting for FiOS to be available to me. I live in Pepperell, Ma and for years have been contacting Verizon a when I can get service. I have been told everything from "soon" to "it there but it maybe at capacity". When asked what at "maybe" at capacity means exactly, I was told that's all they know. I have watched the towns around me get it and heard nothing about my town. Is there something blocking the roll out. The cable company has started offering discount for signing long contracts, and would hate to be stuck with them when the service does become available to me. If this can not be posted, can this info at the least be made available to call and chat center reps. This could would help Verizon by not having possible customers locked into long term contracts, when the roll out of service does happen.

In the early days of FiOS we used to share this information... but all it did was help our competitors direct their efforts... so we no longer provide the information in advance to keep them guessing...

I got an idea!

 

Hows about gettting the people who designed the forums activation website to work on your actual website.  It was much easier to sign up, create an account and login then it is for me to find a contact number to call someone regarding pricing and ordering new service.  Make it easier for people to contact you and you just might have more business....just a thought.  I have 10 years in IT and your current website navigation is lacking imho...if im having trouble hows about the techy potential customers?  I imagine they will look someplace else such as I where its much easier to get my questions answered.  The old saying if you won't service your customers someone else will -Napoleon Hill

...vontains numerous errors or omissions. The main one being that nowhere does it say IMG 1.9 is REQUIRED for you to hook an eSata drive to your DVR. Please delete or fix the FAQ, which (I hope unintentionally) deceives your customers.Thanks.

I would love to be able to add or subtract items from my bundle online. For example, I had the Starz Player

added but had too much trouble viewing it on my computer, so I uninstalled it but had to call Verizon to have

it taken off my bill. It would have been nice to just uncheck a box and have the bill auto-adjusted at the end of

#1 Say something like..

Since we don't offer IMAP e-mail. this is how you can configure your e-mail client to keep mail on the server.

#2 Then give them the directions on how to do that.

 

#3 For users who use your automatic setup program, in the automated setup program configure their e-mail client to keep mail on server.

Can't print channel lineup in numerical format from PDF or the lineup page. Hard to track what is there and what is not when they are not in order. Change to the channel lineup page and select numerical or alphabetical and then try to print it. Good luck! It only prints what is in the current window, and not what is in the scroll buffer. WHY? Attempt to print a side by side comparison in any format, good luck! I think this needs immediate attention. Look A to Z and try and figure out what is missing at your tier or the one you are considering. That is what I am going to do. How are we to compare without the PC? I think perhaps if people had it in black and white it may get looked at in more detail prior to agreeing to something you may or may not want. Perhaps I am being cynical, but I don't think so. Perhaps I will look at and sort my lineup and make a printable comparison of all three tiers. This post had Zero responses and then was locked. Am I missing something? Could be. I have before.:smileysad:

 files sorted 2 different ways: one my channel number, the other by channel name. The current procedure lists the channels in multiple columns, which is fine, except each column continues onto the next PAGE instead of to the next COLUMN on the SAME PAGE, which is the more logical way to organize it!

 

There have been improvements over the yers, but come one, make the print button print what is n the scroll buller and not one and a hal fpages of trash. Thank you

 

Here is a sample of what should be printable form the side by side comparisons. Or tattles from the channel lineup with the pretty little dot! Pardon the copywrite violations, but I had to give an example. The PDFs are nice. But make everything on your page work the way it should. Let me get a hard copy so I can actually sit down and compare apples to apples. See the attached PDF for Montgomery County Maryland. This is what is in the scroll buffer, why will not print.

Can you please explain this concept of "printing"?

 

I think I read about the process of printing in history books... if I recall it has something to do with killing trees and feeding their processed remains into a machine... that machine uses this stuff called "ink" to put the things on see on my screen onto the dead trees...?  Is that correct?

Let me see what I can do.

During freeviews both VOD and remote DVR scheduling should be enabled.

 

Went to try and remotely schedule (during the freeview period) a couple of movies on EPIX for the March "freeview" (during the freeview period) only to go through the whole process and get an error message saying I am not subscribed.  Also have tried in the past to use VOD with a simialr error message from the STB.

the subject really explains it, i understand verizon doesn't completely own verizonwireless but still you guys should just buy out vzw so the websites the same and change the facebook page to just "Verizon" not "Verizon Wireless" so you guys only have to communicate to us through one page

Verizon...you really need to make things a bit more user friendly. I recently switched from Comcast, just to save some bucks, and maybe I'm sorry. Comcast navigation was so much simpler...when I wanted an on demand TV program they were all in one spot, click and I was watching the show. For as much as I've scanned the tutorials, I've yet to discover the secret to getting a regular broadcast channel program on demand. And forget about trying to reset my password to gain access to my account. Please, this is not a fortune 500 endeavor here...every password combo I came up was deemed to be weak...I finally entered a vulgarity plus some numbers...BINGO...in like Flynn. And don't ask about my experience with Verizon Enterprise Center at work...

{word filter avoidance} I try to get on the website to pay my bill and I have to wait for 4 different fields of huge-data-file pictures of promotional **bleep** to load before I can even see the fields that will let me get logged in, THEN wait for another pile-o-promotional crap to load before the payment fields show up. CRIMINY! DOES EVERY %$#@! WEB PAGE HERE HAVE TO BE 20GB and 80% PROMOTIONAL SALES CRAP???? Can ANY page on this site EVER just get down to the business at hand?? Are you so upset that your only getting $420 a month from me that you totally PANIC if I won't spend $8 to watch Christina Agulera and Cher on my cell phone?? Who on God's green earth thinks we want to see all that crap you're foisting on us???
