I wanted to search the TV listings for any lacrosse game so that I could record it while I'm out. I used both of the search features at the top of the TV listings page, and it would allow me only to search the on-demand that the online movies. I don't want to do that; I just wanted to search the tv listings today. You need to put on that page an easy way for me to search the TV listings.
Please enable full information screen when viewing DVR list.
Verizon's On Demand free movies don't provide the captioning movies for deaf and hard of hearing customers. Please fix ASAP. We pay for the TV service so we have right to have equal accessiblity as hearing people. .
I have a "bundle" discount for phone and internet and some other discount for having "one bill" with my cell phone and home services
My apartment has only ONE phone jack. I had used a splitter to plug in both my phone and internet but the phone was interfering with the internet (yes, I had the filter on the phone line) so I had to unplug the phone or risk 3 hours on the phone with tech support to reset my motem every 3 days.
I wanted to have the phone disconnected and save myself 25.00 a month, but without phone service I can't get internet...with current technology, this is ridiculous! My town will apparently never get FIOS so I am forced to start looking to the cable company to see what they can do for me. It's a shame since I have never gone to another phone company since it was Bell Telephone.....Sorry Verizon but I work too hard for my money to give it to a company that isn't being as loyal to me as I've been to them!
For FiOS TV we selected the package that had the channels we really wanted, but it includes a bunch of "special" channels that we have no interest in. (MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network, NHL Network) The only sport we follow at the college and professional level is lacrosse. I would rather trade these other special sports channels all in for CBS Sports Network, which carries the sport.
I am a FiOS 3 play subscriber. I hate having to boot up to access my FiOS Internet. So, Instead of having to use a computer with my FiOS internet, can you make a channel dedicated to accessing the internet?
You could also have the STB front USB accept the USB nubs that allow for a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Please look into this, as this is 2013, so seriously there is No need to be last millennium. Thanks.
Stop pushing the same upgrade everytime that I logon. If I didn't want it yesterday, I don't want it today. Remind me next time is not a reasonable option. Allow me to continue. Thank you.
Saw someone's idea to put live sports scores on the info tabs at the bottom of the screen when you scroll up and and down. I'd also like to suggest something similar for the Music Choice channels. Display the song and artist currently playing for each channel on the info tab.
Ever wonder how you can describe something and you just don't know how? Now I have thought of an idea that I wish could happen. What if you could take a picture of something and hit the look for in internet button, and everything about that item came up. Example: I take a picture of a car, then I hit the load/search in internet button, and everything about that car came up, where to purchase it, the name of the car, the style the brand. Kind of like a Google search except you may not know all the information about that car so you can input it in the internet which gets people upset. This is an amazing tool that many people can use and only Verizon has it.
Now instead of not knowing what that weird object is: take a picture, send to internet search, or add a button that says search, and there you go, all the information you need with just one click.
Are you suggesting "image recognition?"
New subscriber...it would be nice to offer similar channels per package as other providers. I miss my speed channel!
Can you please stop cutting off the programs right in the middle with local commercials? It is not professional of such big company to do this and interrupt customers when watching TV by forcing us to watch local commercials. The worst part is that the part of the program you cut off we do not get to watch. I do not pay to watch commercials; I pay to watch programs in their ENTIRETY. I do not mind the normal commercials at the appropriate time as any other provider does. TWC does not do this.
Permit the customer to decide if they want to use a password or not.
We just recently changed our phone number to a new unpublished number. Since most numbers are recycled, you are at the mercy of whomever or whatever have the previous owners' information. The previous owner of this number had multiple bad debts and apparently gave it out to everyone, their landscapng company, and their dog.
You are only allowed to block 10 specific phone numbers and you cannot block numbers that are "unavailable". Here's what I would like to see...
1. Allow more than 10 numbers in the list. I managed to fill that up a week after I enabled it.
2. Allow blocking based upon the caller ID and not only the number. I get lots of calls from "UNAVAILABE" with phone number "UNAVAILABLE". Trust me, I don't want to talk to them. I'd like to block all calls from "MONTANA", "UTAH", and "TEXAS". I don't know anyone there and I don't want to hire them to reduce my credit card rate.
3. Allow blocking of area codes or partial numbers. I want to be able to enter "(978) 685-????" or "(406) *" and limit my annoyance from these places.
4. Allow call notification and call blocking at the same time.
I really need this facility to manage when my kids can watch TV... I really shouldn't have to stand in front of the TV each time I need to to extend / unblock time slots.
