I have Fios Digital Voice. With the Fios Phone Book I can sync my names with different mail service programs, with the phone book in the cloud why can't it sync my names input with Fios caller ID to have Caller ID come up on my screen, TV and Phone, with my input names for cell phones instead of showing the state. That would be a good add on for Digital voice.
Two problems with call blocking in Digital Voice. 1) There should be a feature so you can dial a sequence of numbers (like *86 does to access vmail) and have the caller automatically added to the block list. It seems like unnecessary work to have to do it from the call log. Which brings me to problem 2). We receive (several times a day) robo calls from 234567890. That's a nine-digit number that "add to call block" doesn't recognize as a valid number, so it won't let me add it. System should be changed to allow blocking of any call, regardless of what number those robo morons dream up.
Since switching to FIOS from Cox, we have received numerous voice mails with no message attached every single day - some days more than a dozen. Virtually every one of these is from a robo call. I can't use call blocking because of the limit on the number of different numbers these come from, and there are just too many of them to keep track of. It is quite time consuming to manage these unwanted voice mails.
How about modifying the voice mail protocol so that the caller must enter a digit or sequence of digits on the keypad before they can leave a voice mail. This won't eliminate all of the unwanted (and normally empty) voice mails, but it should eliminate quite a few.
The do-not-call list no longer works, so it's time for Verizon to do their part to help their customers with this real problem. You've given us caller ID so we can just not answer unwanted calls, but that doesn't help if they caller allows their call to enter the voice mail system. Without a more effective way to deal with this problem, I may have to resort to turning off voice mail completely.
Please, we will like to see channels like beIN Sports, Mega TV, Mundo FOX and America TeVe in Phoenixville, PA. I'm a fourth month old customer but I'll heard in a while hasn't been added any spanish channel to La Conexion line up.
Verizon's price increase that will go into affect on tuesday for all of their movie packages, sports package and spanish package should at the very least include some more movie channels, sports channels and channels in spanish. Now i am well aware of the sony movie channel, BeIn sports, the pac 12 network that are on their way but that is simply not enough to justify the price increase for all of those packages. I see that you are actually going to be removing channels from your spanish package starting with tele amazonas channel 1706 but no channels have been added to the spanish package in about a year. The addition of BeIn sport espanol is not enough to justify an increase so at the very least verizon should be looking to increase the amount of channels that are in that package. Cnn latino maybe on its way but that is still not enough when the competition has channels that verizon could very easily add but as of yet they have not done that. Peru magico, canal sur peru, latino america tv, canal de las estrellas (channel of the stars), and tv venezuela are just a few that could be added. Now the excuse that there is a channel like canal sur channel 1549 which has a few shows from peru so that should suffice is not enough for people who want that channel because comcast, time warner, and cablevision all have both canal sur and canal sur peru. The excuse that there is some content on canal sur from peru so that should be enough to satisy people who want that kind of programming is bogus because you have centro america tv channel 1703 which has many shows from el salvador like hola el salvador (hello el salvador) when you already have a 24/7 channel from el salvador on channel 1509 called television el salvador. There is a huge appetite for this kind of programming and to not add it would be counter productive to what verizon is ultimately trying to achieve which is to try to add as many customers as they can so that they can all enjoy what it is that verizon fios has to offer.
I have verizon voice. In order to go through and manage my voice settings, I have to go through multiple epileps inducing ads and multiple screens. Make the interface fast and simple!! The internet is fast everywhere except verizon!!
You can do better. Also allow call manager from your mobile app.
Your home control is a good example of what you do well. Great product.
Telemarketing. It is very simple. In a mannner similar to call intercept. allow a restriction that requires ( at our option) to do something like press # to connect. RObocalls would be eliminated.
The very fact that you don't have a basic cable channel like BBC America in your Prime HD package is ridiculous. Even TWC offers it in it's most basic cable package. Also, why is NHK not in HD? That's another channel TWC provides in HD. It's little things like this that really upset me when it comes to your TV service.
Your Spam filter doesn't work AT ALL. If I move it to Spam I don't want to see it anymore. But they're all back the next day. Half the time Verizon email chokes up even trying to delete them. Makes me realize Verizon is taking sides with Lowermybills.com and Walmart over me. You have competition and you need to be better than they are....you're not.
Oh, and I'd rather not go through two pages of Verizon spam to get to my email. .
I work in the tech field and I am so frustrated right now I want to cancel my service.
First, the website is awful. There is so many redirects its slow and keeps signing me out when I am trying to locate anything. An upgrade and overhaul wouldnt hurt.
Second, Technical Assistance....Not so much, I called tonight and the person didnt know the answer to my question at all. Can I view live TV on my iPad through my STB? Can I watch SHO on my iPad anyplace? How do I import my content into the Media manager so I can access the content remotely, and finally, why when I am signed in on my iPad and I try and access my content does it tell me I have to sign up when I have authorized my device?
Lastly, Flex View...change the name, nothing flexible about it. Help...Before I just cancel.
