Fios is schedule to be installed and I want to use my own router. Is this possible and still maintain all services for internet, TV and telephone?
There are several configuration documented which would allow this -- however, you must retain the Verizon router in the mix because it acts as a bridge between the internet and MoCA network the STB's use to access the internet for guide data, etc.
My recommendation is that you either use your router in "access point" (LAN to LAN) mode and disable the services on it except for wireless -or- use it an double-NAT mode (WAN to LAN) simply plugging the WAN interface of your router into an open LAN interface on the verizon router and then do a one time configuraton change on the verizon router to place your router "in the DMZ".
Verizon will not support nor install a setup with your own router in the mix.
