0.3 Mbps dow/ 0.1 up on quantum 50? What's going on, I feel scammed.

Ok so the first month was great, averaging 25-35 down, not bad. Not the ADVERTISED speed,but I get it. Anyway about a week ago it dropped to 1mbps then .5mbps. I've gone thru all the typical IT scenarios, nothing. I call support and basically someone who barely spoke English didn't help me at all, basically he told me its my computer. Which it is not. I'm very disappointed, to say the least.

In order for any of us peers to help we would need some more info.  Probably some idea where in the country you are as it may be a problem in just one area.

Most likely to help would be for you to run verizon's speedtest NDT and then ask that for more info

See if you can try on another PC.  We got screwed on that deal as well.  We upgraded to 50/25 and get slower speeds than the previous (and cheaper) 25/25.  Our issue turned out to be a provisioning error. 

Good luck talking to someone - we called 18 times and got transferred to a phone sex line when asking for a supervisor.  I hope you are more lucky than we were.

What router do you have? If you have another computer check to see if you get the same results on a wired connection.

I'm sure you've unplugged your router to reset it. Have you gone into your routers settings and made sure the security is set to wpa2? Try changing the channels to 1, 6 or 11 and see if anything improves.

Also make sure your network card can handle higher speeds. You might not be able to get all the way close to 50.

Run the fios optimizer even if you already have and see if anythign changes if the settings  have been changed. I've had to run it a few times before.

I have reset router and connected 3 different computers (wired) and various other devices (wireless) with pretty much the exact same results. 

Here is the speedtest info from verizon, and it says im getting 16mbps up, that good.

But 1.62kb/s down!
