Who can help?

Run a tracert from the command prompt
tracert www.strato.de
and post the restults. that will give us an idea of what is happening.

In both cases I get approx. 85% packet loss for more than 5 days now.
If I do both tests to a Road Runner ISP account, I have absolutely no problems.
Any ideas?
Thx Axel

Looks like the problem starts at either hop 9 or 10. The hops that give no reply at all, just give the * * * either mean that they are set not to repsond or are dropping packets at that point.
The ones that have a * and a time are ones that are dropping packets.
So the packet loss looks like it starts probably at hop 10... 10 * * 67 ms atl-bb1-link.telia.net [213.248.80
This is likely the trasition from atlanta to the intercontinental main pipe. This will be both outside Verizon or Strato's area of influance. If true there is likely nothing much you can do other than see if you can find "link.telia.net" tech support and see if they can check the router at 213.24.80.xxx (the ip on your tracert got cut off so its not all there)

The problem is after the ***.alter.net router which is Verizon Business. Does anybody have a technical email for Verizon?
Thanks Axel
