Several times a day all of the networked devices in my home get disconnected from my router. They reconnect automatically after about a minute. I've already ruled out issues with the computers/devices themselves as well as the network cables. Doesn't seem to matter if they are wireless or wired. As a test, I had several of them pinging my router's internal IP address constantly all at once. It'll be fine for a few hours, and then they all simultaneously report the request timed out.
The router I have is the Actiontec MI424-WR model I got directly from Verizon with firmware 4.0.16.1.56.0.10.14.4 (checked for updates, none available). I've power cycled it a few times and I held in the reset button on the back for 15 seconds. Nothing's resolved the problem.
This all started a few weeks ago, and the router's been fine for years until now. Can anyone offer a suggestion, or will I need to contact Verizon to replace it?
Thanks!

We know the brand, model and firmware on the router.
What is the hardware version?
