Another Westell 9100EM Problem

Message 1 of 2

Well, it's more of the same problem, actually. Seems like port forwarding is a major issue with this gateway. Here are my settings:

I'm just trying to run a simple minecraft server. This works within the network (family computer can see my computer) but shows it's not open. Eventually I'd like to build a cheap computer to act as a server, but I see no reason to do that if this crap gateway won't let me portforward.

Am I doing something wrong (pretty sure that I am not considering how many posts I have read)? How do I get around this?

I miss my TWC Motorola Surfboard SBG6580, that was a proper gateway for the amount of money the cable company is getting each month.

I'm waiting on your Screenshot/attachment being approved by a moderator. Until then, it's hard to say what's going on. Make sure UPnP is disabled on the router as well, since that may be causing some issues with your port forwarding rules.
