I have a Canon Pixma MX882 and Canon Pixma MG7120 which are both wireless printers and neither seem to want to communicate with my PC (Win 8.1 64-bit) by connecting them through the router.
Is this a known issue, do I need to go get another router to use for my printers?

I have an 892 and use it often via wireless to connect to my PC running Windows 7.
To set it up, I had to download a driver that supported network connectivity.
It went out and found the printer.
Have you verified that the printer has connected wirelessly to the rotuer and gotten an IP?
If so, can you ping it from your PC?
