C:\Program Files\Verizon\FiOS\ihs\ConnWizard\AutoIT\installer_registerInstaller.exe

But I took one look at the path and figured I'd better ask before I delete it.

So, is it okay to get rid of, or is the anti-virus software giving me a false positive?

Mr. B

its likely a false positive. looks like Malwarebytes also was flagging it and they had to write a new definition to correct it.
