Awful experience with setting up new Verizon Fios services at my new home

Is anyone else having an absolutely horrible experience with attempting to have fios installed at their home? I came over from Comcast because I was told Verizon's customer service was far superior. Comcast was awful! I have now made a total of 4 phone calls, 1 online order, spoke with 5 different individuals, and I'm still being told I have to wait a month for installation. This is horrible customer service if you ask me and I'm already considering going back to Comcast. I was originally told that my services would be connected within 2-3 business days and now I'm being told January 9th. Also, my order is "in engineering" which we all know means, we don't care about your business and nothing is going to change. Please, if you've had a similar experience, let me know. I don't want to waste my time and money on worse customer service than I originally had with my previous carrier.

Please note, I work in the "service industry" and provide superior customer service to all of my clients. I am extremely disappointed thus far.

Hi KShek,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
