A quick diagnostic would be to connect via network cable. Then you would immediately know whether it's just a wireless issue.

Pretty soon they won't have to block anything. They may decide on a GB limit that will definately lose me as a customer. I would not be surprised if NetFlix will offer an internet service in the future.

Hi-
I have a Samsung TV Monitor; Dynex Blu-Ray connected to Verizon FIOs.
Tried connecting to wireless. Loses signal. Bought MegaPlug to create direct ethernet link to other side of house where wireless is. That has been problematice also.
What's the deal with Samsung causing BluRay issues???

The problem with most internet enabled set top boxes lies in the fact that they handle DHCP poorly.
If you have FIOS TV, you'll notice that your STB has a static, reserved IP address.
Do the same with your BluRay player and you'll see a dramatic improvement.
