Hello everyone. I have just moved to the US from the UK and choose Verizon Fios. The service was installed before we arrived and the engineer put the router in an upstairs bedroom. It would have been better in my basement but thats my fault I guess.
I have a few PC's in my man Cave that I need to connect to the netowk. So I wanted a wireless switch that will connect to the FIOS router upstairs.
1. Will this work?
2. What is the best wireless switch to get?
End game would be to move the router, but as I rent at the moment I dont want to start drilling through floors.
Any advice you can give this newbie Brit would be appreciated.
