Can't Verify Email

I have been attempting to confirm my email in the Verizon portal but cannot seem to do so.  I receive the email asking me to confirm just fine and also when I click the embedded link, the portal says I've confirmed.  When I revisit the portal, I receive an orange notification (and in the account area) saying my email address is not yet confirmed.  I'd hate to call in to get this squared away.  Does anyone have a solution to this?  Please let me know if you need more information.
