I followed the threads here and have setup a port forward below but cannot connect via FTP using my public IP. Can successfully connect to remote desktop but not FTP. Am I forwarding the port correctly?
My FTP client can't establish a connection and returns this error "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host". Nothing showing the log.

that port number maybe blocked. try to set up your FTP under a different port number.

Tried port 2121 too and still didn't work. Is there anything else beyond port forwarding I need to setup to get FTP to work? I even tested putting in DMZ as well but still no joy. Never had a problem when I had comcast and linksys router doing the port forwarding.

port 2121 is a udp port. port 22 is a tcp port for SSH, you can try that one, or a open port number of 23. or scan your ports to see whats open.
