Can't get to Expedia or ATT websites

For 2-3 weeks now any device on my home network, wireless or wired, PC or Mac, can't connect to www.att.com or www.expedia.com.  The only error message I receive from either website is a generic "request timeout" message. Does anyone else on FIOS in the New England area have this problem?  I can get to the websites just fine from my phone using 3G and from my office at work, which doesn't use FIOS.  

I've tried changing my DNS servers (I normally use OpenDNS) and tracert results seem normal.  I also tried working with a FIOS rep over chat, but that was fruitless.  I think I need a new modem/router...any other ideas?

At any point did you do a factory reset on the router? There S/B a pin hold button that needs to be pressed for 15 seconds then released  while the modem is powered on. You will lose any custom settings if you try this.

Also have you tried Google DNS ?  (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4)

Hi, I did not.  Mysteriously, after 3 weeks of this issue, it magically corrected itself the day after my initial post on this forum.  Coincidence?  I think not...
