Basically, I'd like to know of any possible problems that may arise before I do it. 😛

In the router you will need to forward for the Xbox, so that it can have what Playstation calls NAT type 2.

NAT type 2, info for example at

I know that the Xbox has something like NAT Type 2, but I do not know they name it since I do not have a Xbox.

For example if you have the Westell A90-750045-07 as your router and on your XBOX360 you have the game 11 Eyes Cross Over

The serial number worked.  I had tried everything until I read this, and I too did NOT want to reset because so many family members have already typed in the password for the wireless in our house for so many different devices, so I finally used "admin",  and even though every key I hit typed 2-4 numbers/letters), just ignored the screen and typed in the serial number (which is tiny on the side of the fios router under the bar code and after the letters SN:) and it worked!  Yay!
