Cannot Get Camera To Connect to WiFi

Hello, I have tried 3 different brands of PTZ cameras at my home. None would connect to WiFi. We have the same router at our business as at home. I decided to try the last camera at the office. It connected fine.  How do I verify that the camera is trying to hook up to the 2.4 and not the 5?  After I sign into the router, what are the steps to separate the 2.4 and the 5 and then manually make sure camera is trying to connect to 2.4.  I do not know what else to try.  Very frustrating.
