Constant issues with internet speek on FIOS

Hi - we pay for 50/25. But their internet speed SUCKS. It is 2.1 Mbps download and 0.87 mbps upload.

We had this crap of channel changed by a rep to something else after a long call a few weeks back and now its back low speed. We'd go back to Optimum; it worked and worked well for past 12 years. Any one knows how to do it?

Are you testing from Wired or Wireless? Test from Wired if you're using Wireless. If the Wireless is the probem we'll address this going forward.

First check what the wired speed is.  Check it against http://speedtest.verizon.net . 

If that is good then it may well be your wireless speed.  Their are lots of things that people can suggest depending on what router and version of the router you have.  Note most recent Verizon is MR424WR version I (letter i), although most do not have that router.
