Crash to Desktop while playing MMOs

Message 1 of 4

Hello - I am a new Verizon Fios customer. I have been playing MMOs on my current PC with no trouble using a MiFi device. Ever since I got Verizon Fios internet, I get kicked out of the game, back to the desktop. The game itself is still running so I just jump right back in. It is problem because it happens every 10 minutes or so and sometimes at the worst possible moment. It happens in at least two unrelated games that I play (WoW and SWTOR).

Can someone help?

Thanks!

Was any Verizon software installed to your machine? An ISP change shouldn't cause this to happen. It could be coincidence or newly installed software.

Thanks for that! I uninstalled the three Verizon programs I must've installed when I got Verizon and now no more crashes.

Yay!
