Did Verizon recently start blocking port 4125?

This seems to have happened in the last week or so.  4125 is a default port for Windows Home Server and it's used for accessing the server remotely.  I was able to access my WHS from outside of my home last week but this week Shields Up! is showing that this port is now blocked.

Thanks for the reply.

Using https instead of http seems to work fine.  Oh well. 🙂

I have no idea, but I can tell you something(s) to check.

#1 Be sure that your computer is set to use a static IP that is outside of the DHCP range of the router.

This means, as need be see

portforward.com -> Forum -› Knowledge Base -› How to choose a Static IP address

At URL: http://forum.portforward.com/YaBB.cgi?num=1116577357

#2 Make sure that your computer is on. I know it sounds dumb, but if your computer is off - the port will show up as stealth.

#3 Make sure that UPnP if that exist in your router is turned off.
