What is the simplest approach to extend the wirless range of the Actiontec MI424WR router?
The signal strength delivered to remote areas of the house is significantly worse than with prior devices.
Has anyone had luck with a more powerful antenna, and if so, what products?
There are no cordless phones causing this problem within range.
Extend one of the wired ports of the router to a wireless switch/hub or router closer to where your wireless devices are.
or
Connect one of the wired router ports to the wan port of one of your "prior" devices
or
Obtain a wireless bridge and install it between the fios router and wherever you are trying to get to.
