FIOS Actiontec Bridging Routers

Hello,

I need some help.  I have recently moved and I have my primary FIOS router connected and it works great. My new house has CAT 5 wired completely throughout.  I have connected from my primary router to an 8 port switch to backfeed the rest of the house connections.  In another room (Master Bedroom) I would like to setup a 2nd router to extend the range.  I have the hard wired coax plugged into the WAN port and found a video on You Tube to setup the router in Bridge mode.

It worked for about a day.  Now, when I plug in and have the 2nd router on, my 1st router loses internet connection when hard wired, but the wireless works on my ipad, but not on my work PC with direct access.

Is there somewhere I can find the step by step directions on how to properly set this up>

Thanks

Chris

You can't have the the WAN connection active on both routers.

Follow the instructions in part 2 of this FAQ:

Can I get an ethernet connection in a room with only coax?
