FIOS Activation Fee Not waived!!

I had one of those FIOS tents in my neighborhood, well I went by and got some information on the packages.  I went home and researched for myself online to find that if I oredered online all the activation fees would be waived.  So I went to the rep at the FIOS tent and showed him this offer, he tells me no problem we can waive the fees too.  

So I sign up and a month later I get my bill, and guess what.  Yup payment 1 of 3 for FIOS activation fee, so I call Verizon and they tell me they can't waive the fee only the rep that sold me the package can do that.  What type of scam are you trying to run Verizon?  What is the difference if I sign up online or through your rep that was apparently full of it?

Hi jricharc,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
